History of Puja Wedding Store
In the year 1999, our shop came into existence; thanks to the efforts of Mr Raman Singh who set up Puja Wedding Store in Brampton, a city located in Ontario, Canada. However, our roots are much deeper than this as it all started in the year 1945 by the late grandfather of Raman Singh. Even before the independence of India, Late Shri Gurdev Singh opened a shop called ‘Nirmal Book Depot’ in Sadar Bazar Delhi Cantonment. Through this shop, he also facilitated numerous puja items and various wedding products and services for his customers which later became a success.
In 1965, the shop was inherited by his son Late Shri Amrit Singh who is the father of Mr Raman Singh. Eventually, with a new dream and hope, Late Shri Amrit Singh moved to North America. He opened a shop in 1987 which exclusively facilitated wedding products and services, it was named “Suhaag – The Shaadi Depot”. The shop eventually became a success. After few years, Raman Singh moved to Canada and the rest is history. For more than two decades, Puja Wedding Store is being run by Mr. Raman Singh and his wife Puja. As a result of having a long history, we gained a lot of experience and our expertise in facilitating puja and wedding services is unmatched.
